Vintage Imagery Studio Revamp

Hello Ladies!

As many of you know I’ve been working non-stop on my studio! We’ve installed new flooring, purchased new furniture and installed some nice little touches. This studio is an ongoing process and the next step is to install more shelving, update the wall with new treatments and (finally) install an actual ceiling!

Our studio is located about 15 miles from downtown St Louis, on the Illinois side in a little town called collinsville. We moved to this location about 2 years ago from our Troy, IL location. This studio is private and secure and for ladies only!! (Unless your steaming things up with a couples shoot!)

Many changes are still to come for out studio so check back in for more progress! We are still shooting/booking during this renovation as it continues onward over the next year or so.

Whats your favorite part of the new studio!? The shoe wall is mine!

Modern Pinup-Erin

I always get a little overly excited when someone wants to do Pinup! I mean, I LOVE boudoir, glamour, fashion, couples etc, but Pin Up… that is my secret artistic crush! I have so many pin up props and outfits, dresses, hats, shoes, garters and corsets that it should be a crime!

Ms Erin brought in her own adorable 50’s inspired dress and we simply added a crinoline from my closet (there are a lot of them in there) and a flower from my hair supplies!

Sherrie did an amazing job keeping Erin’s makeup retro inspired but still modern and fresh. And that color red she used on Erins lips!?  Where do I get my hands on that?!

Erin did an amazing job as she flipped her skirt, showed a little leg and flashed that killer smile at the camera.

Needless to say we had a blast… From the past!

St Louis & Illinois Boudoir Shoot- Penny

Perfectly Penny- Vintage Imagery Studio  2016P13w

I had the pleasure of doing a boudoir shoot for this most amazing woman! Not only is she sweet and beautiful but Penny is a mother who looks after four children, 3 boys and 1 girl and she just tied the knot in 2014! Like a lot of women, she loves to spend time with her family, go on trips, cook and hit the gym. She is also involved in her children sports events and is even the head coach for their football team. She also volunteers for local Collinsvilles Raiders football and wrestling associations.

Penny decided to treat herself (and her new hubby!) to some beautiful boudoir photos and when I asked Penny to tell me a bit about her thoughts going into this experience and how she feels now that she’s scratched it off her bucket list, she had this to say:

“I didn’t think I had the confidence to do it but did. I didn’t think that i was pretty but you proved me wrong! You were great to work with and made me feel special and devoted all your time and concentrated on me and what was going to make me look my best. You are sweet, energetic, and you made me feel at home and comfortable being naked in front of you, when the only person I am usually is with my husband. Great quality work and I cannot wait for my next set.”

Penny is soon to be what I lovingly refer to all my repeat clients as; “A Repeat Offender” Penny did an amazing job and helped to create stunning images that she and her hubby can and will share for a life time.
