Boudoir & Couples Photoshoot

Ever wonder about getting photos of you and your partner? Of course you do! Now, the real question. Do you want something special for your engagement or anniversary. Would you also enjoy a fun, romantic experience with your partner that you’ll remember forever?

So what are intimate couples photoshoots about? Well, its a celebration of your relationship! These images will be admired by you for years to come. They will spark memories.

We catch  intimate moments between our couples in a tasteful way. Moments that you often experience every day but do not get to see.

I was lucky enough to have my client, Ms S, allow for me to share both her boudoir images PLUS a few of the gorgeous image of her and her hubby.

She first came to me a few months back, a little nervous, but ultimately rocked her shoot! She asked me that day about doing a couples shoot, if she could talk her hubs into it that is. Lucky for me, the couple returned! This was one of the funnest shoots ever. We mostly cracked up through out the shoot and just had a ton of fun. It was also so special for me to see the look in their eyes when they locked gazes. So damn sweet!

So, how would you talk into a couples shoot!?

Want something different?

Vintage Imagery is now offering a new service. Something that is as edgy as it is fun. This yields amazing and UNIQUE results. What is it?

Light painting!

So what the heck is that?

Light painting is a technique where we use hand held lights or light sources and a long exposure. A popular photo that wedding photographers do is to use long exposures to “write” in the air with sparklers.

So how can you use that in boudoir or glamour?

Well first we need a light source. Like this Pinkish robe light.

Once we have that, I run like a fool to “paint” color in and around you. The result?

Something completely unique and gorgeous.

The Best Grooms gift Ever-YOU! Kari’s Session

Ok, so it seems like EVERYONE is getting married or is engaged!! With that said, some of Vintage Imagery’s most popular types of shoots are Bridal Boudoir. Of course! What man wouldn’t want a sexy photo book filled with his soon-to-be brides’ gorgeous images? Give it to him before you say “I do”!  What guy wouldn’t go CRAZY with anticipation of the… uh… wedding night after seeing that? You can also wait until the honeymoon and hand him your photo book wearing your favorite lingerie from the session! (or lack their of!)
Whats even better though? Its one of a very few gifts that will give YOU more of a present than him! (and thats saying a lot!!)  Its a Win-Win really!
Remember too that you do NOT have to stick to your traditional bridal shoots. As you can see from this clients session, she had both sides of the spectrum going on-Sweet and Naughty!
Kari and I had SO much fun. We tried a ton of different poses and sets. I think we spent probably 3 hours shooting and giggling away!  We may have even broke into a bottle of Amurula, which is basically made from a  fruit that elephants get wasted on in Africa. Strangley enough (I didnt know it at the time) But the Murlua tree is also known as a “marriage tree”. Seriously, google it and buy yourself a bottle its amazing!
Needless to say, the experience is unforgettable!
And her photos? Yes, They went over very well with the Hubs! 🙂

Modern Pinup-Erin

I always get a little overly excited when someone wants to do Pinup! I mean, I LOVE boudoir, glamour, fashion, couples etc, but Pin Up… that is my secret artistic crush! I have so many pin up props and outfits, dresses, hats, shoes, garters and corsets that it should be a crime!

Ms Erin brought in her own adorable 50’s inspired dress and we simply added a crinoline from my closet (there are a lot of them in there) and a flower from my hair supplies!

Sherrie did an amazing job keeping Erin’s makeup retro inspired but still modern and fresh. And that color red she used on Erins lips!?  Where do I get my hands on that?!

Erin did an amazing job as she flipped her skirt, showed a little leg and flashed that killer smile at the camera.

Needless to say we had a blast… From the past!
